You are currently browsing the tag archive for the ‘sitting in the back’ tag.

In our church, we joke that you have to come early to get a seat in the back.  No one wants to sit in front where everyone can spot it when you stand up at the wrong time or miss a “cue.”  But we also want a say in what goes on.  We sit in back and then cluck about how things should have been done.

Isn’t that a lot like life.  No one wants to lead.  Everyone wants to give their opinion and tell other people what to do.

Try something different this week. Look for someplace in life where you can take the lead.  Do this every now and again and you may find the world shifting in a direction that appeals to you.

Have a Mary Little Christmas
