Walking everywhere in sandals,
their feet were in sore need.
Still, it was not fitting, they said.
Touching bunions, calloused toes,
kneeling on the floor
of the rented room,
Cleansing soles and souls,
He taught them:
To lead, one must serve.
Thoughts on a positive, prayerful life in today's world.
